Tidal Transport and Trading USA Ltd. (“Tidal USA”) was established in 2005 as a subsidiary of Tidal Transport & Trading (Canada) to support the dry bulk and breakbulk shipping sectors along the United States West Coast.
The company began by providing hold cleaning and port captain services, developing strong relationships with major bulk carriers and port operators. In 2011, Tidal USA expanded into stevedoring services, starting with a single account in California and steadily growing its service offerings across multiple state ports.
In 2021, Neltume Ports acquired a 70% ownership stake in Tidal USA, marking an important milestone in the company’s growth and strengthening its role in supporting Neltume’s strategic expansion along the U.S. West Coast.
Today, Tidal USA delivers reliable maritime and port services to the bulk shipping industry, supporting efficient and safe operations across the nation.
